Get Your Game On at Barcadia in Fort Worth

The combination of video games and alcohol is a classic one. After all, the very first arcade game, Pong, invented by Nolan Bushnell, took up residence in a California tavern, kicking off a new genre of entertainment that has done nothing but grow to this day!

With a location in Fort Worth not too far from Enclave at Westport, Barcadia is a chain of Texas pubs that boast an impressive selection of classic quarter-munchers to keep you occupied. Games here include nostalgic favorites like Ms. Pac-Man and Frogger coupled with more obscure titles like BurgerTime and Paperboy. There are also a number of more physical amusements, including a life-sized Connect Four game and an equally huge Jenga set, which can cause quite a racket when it goes toppling to the ground. The beer selection here is excellent, with a number of rotating taps drawing from the best in American microbrews, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a variety of food and drink specials every night.
