New York Eats Recreates the Big Apple’s Street Food with Fresh Ingredients
March 1, 2016 | admin
New York Eats brings the street cart vendors of the Big Apple to Arlington in every mixed plate it doles out. If you'd like to try one, start by picking your protein. Options include freshly grilled chicken, gyro meat, or crunchy falafel. You can also order a platter filled with all three. Chefs will do the rest of the decision-making. They put your meat or falafel over seasoned rice, add a healthy drizzle of their locally famous White Sauce, and throw some salad on the side.
If you're not interested in a mixed plate, New York Eats also serves its meats as wraps or sandwiches. You can also skip the gyro and opt for a burger instead, all named for iconic parts of NYC. Order the Broadway burger if you like some heat, as it contains jalapenos along with onions, pickles, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and American cheese. Some folks stop by just for the fries, especially the cheese fries.
